Winery Owner and History: Winemaker Charles Bieler has been making Rosé for more than 15 years. His experience in Provence is notable in the wines he produces. Sourced from Aix en Provence, which is cooler, more rugged and higher elevation than most vineyards, Bieler achieves more gentle ripening and more natural acidity, two absolutely critical attributes to making the most beautiful complex Rose.
Wine Making Info & Treatments/Oak Treatments: Fermented in separate lots and then blended. Bieler has invested in nitrogen coverage so that moment this Rosé fruit arrives it’s never exposed to oxygen again until it’s poured in your glass, resulting in a more vivid and precise expression of Rosé
Varietals: Grenache , Syrah, Cinsault, Rolle, Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: Pale pink in color, this rose is beautifully balanced between red fruit and the acid structure. The palate has tremendous length in addition to the raspberry, cherry, peach, herbal, citrus and mineral core. Over 30 small fermentations were used, with dozens of different yeasts to create a symphony of flavor.
Food Pairing: Perfect for summer sipping on the porch by itself or w/ goat cheese crostini. It beautifully complements spring veggie pasta, steamed shellfish or grilled fish. Recommended serving temperature: 50-60 degrees
