Annual Herbs - Watercress is grown as an annual herb. This means they will establish quickly from seed, grow through the season and later wilt with the first frost.
Edible - Watercress is a delicious microgreen that is packed with nutrients. It is high in vitamin A (from beta-carotene) and vitamin C, and is a source of folate, calcium, iron and vitamin E.
Harvest - Baby leaves can be harvested in as little as 7 to 10 days after sowing. You will need to wait around 60 days for fully matured plants however.
Height & Width - Watercress will grow 18 to 24 inches tall and can spread roughly 12 inches wide. They grow very quickly as a semi aquatic herb plant.
