Fruits - Straightneck is a Summer Squash that produces pale yellow fruits that weigh in at about 1 to 3 pounds. They are oblong in shape and measure 12 to 14 inches long.
Growth - Summer Squash fruits grow on a bush like plant versus the typical vine seen with outher Cucurbitas. The plants grow about 2 feet tall and can take up about 3 feet of width.
Harvest - Straightneck Squash crops will be ready in roughly 50 days. Once they are ready for harvest, simply cut them from the plant, leaving 1 inch of stem to prevent rotting and to store better.
