Powered by 4 AA Batteries: There is a 4 AA batteries slot inside the kit. Just unscrew the batteries slot cover and install the 4 x1.5V batteries (Batteries are not included) and the kit will run after you set up the timer. The screw of the batteries slot can be unscrewed by hand so it will be easy for you to change the batteries even when you are outdoors.

Adjust the Arms and Mount: The mounting arms can adjust from in to in. Adjust the length of the mounting arms according to the bottom size of the feed bucket. Mount it right under the fed drop hole so the fed will drop on the spinner plate.

Connect to 6V Solar Panel: There is a solar panel quick connect port on the bottom of the feeder kit. Remove the silicone cover and you can connect the feeder kit with the 6v solar panel to extend the using time of the feeder.(not included) Please be aware that the solar panel is a direct power source to the kit and does not charge the batteries that are installed inside the kit.
