We are the compost company MATIMARU.Every day, we search for compost at our 3,558.3-foot (100 tsubo) workplace. We have participated at numerous events for exhibitors (examples: Lohas Festa, Junkan Fes).Using our customers’ reviews as a reference, we strive to develop composts that everyone can use to their satisfaction.
Compost is organic waste matter that has been broken down for use as a material that improves soil quality.Composting is a method for converting organic matter such as household kitchen waste, fallen leaves, and vegetable scraps into nourishing compost through natural decomposition and fermentation resulting from microbial activity.
Use old soil for composting. If you do not have any soil, please purchase black soil.If you use only kitchen waste and soil, the nitrogen content will be high. If you are having trouble growing plants as a result of this, we recommend using rice bran and animal droppings, which are rich in potassium and phosphorus.Finished compost may contain cutworms, so we recommend using a soil sieve.
After putting the kitchen waste in the soil, close the lid so that the soil is not exposed, and close the compost bag’s zipper. In the event that insects show up, cover the soil with 2.0 inches (5 cm) of akadama soil.
In order to keep it from being noticed by insects, kitchen waste compost needs to be covered with a larger quantity of soil than weed compost does.As a result, there is a risk that it can become heavy, so we recommend kitchen waste for small containers and weeds for large containers.
This convenient product does not require electricity and is easy on the wallet. It allows you to do your composting in a stylish bag format. Kitchen waste that used to go in the garbage for incineration can now be turned into compost.
Made of non-woven fabric, the bag allows water to drain out, so even if it gets wet from rain, that is not a problem. If you have concerns about dirt, you can place it under a roof. *The reason why the outside of the container is whitish when damp is because of the bacteria that adhere to it.The bacteria eat the kitchen waste and help to break it down.
The bag is made of thick cloth fabric, so it is less likely to be damaged and does not get punctured when you stir the contents with a shovel.
The bag allows gases to pass through easily, so the microbial decomposition process moves along and compost is produced. When you mix finished compost into soil, the soil’s water retention and ventilation are improved, and the soil is supplied with nutrients.
